Directions:

From SR-3 take the NW Newberry Hill Road exit and turn east towards the water

Follow the road to the left as it turns into Silverdale Way NW

At the traffic light, turn right onto NW Byron Street

Go all the way down to the end of the cul-de-sac

Schedule & Facts:

7:30 a.m. - Registration in the gazebo

8:00 a.m. - First OC-1 race

8:30 a.m. - Coach's Meeting in the gazebo

9:00 a.m. - First OC-6 race

Entry fee: (OC-6) $18.00 per crew / $3.00 per paddler / $1 per paddler for 16 and under events
Entry fee: (OC-1) $3.00

All paddlers must have a signed waiver on file with PNW-ORCA and ACA Insurance. Non-ACA members must pay a $15 event fee. Waivers and Event-Only ACA forms will be available at the race site

Events will be combined, as appropriate, depending on number of entries

All canoes must be equipped with life vests and weighted in accordance with PNW-ORCA rules

All events will be conducted following PNW-ORCA race rules

Events will start approximately 5 minutes after the last canoe from the previous event hits the beach

Awards for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place in each event will be awarded throughout the day

Club Awards for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place will be presented at the end of the day.

Special Notes:

The beach is rocky and the tide will be low. Each paddler needs to have adequate foot protection. Cradles or tires to protect canoes are necessary

Tides: High 6:35 AM 9.8ft; Low 2:09 PM -1.7ft; High 9:18 PM 12.4ft

Due to underground sprinkler system, DO NOT use stakes to secure tents or canopies.
