2026 Practice Schedule

Please show up 15 minutes prior to the times listed below to fill out paperwork, receive instruction, select a paddle, ready the boats, and be assigned to a crew.

Saturday practices may be pre-empted by races. Make sure to check the Race Schedule before coming down on Saturday.

Wahine & Kane (Women & Men) - New & Experienced Paddlers Welcome

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 5:30pm
  • Saturdays: 10am

Club Provides:

  • 6-person outrigger canoes
  • Paddles
  • Adult life vests.

What To Wear:

  • Footwear that does not easliy come off is recommended such as dive booties, river sandals, or water shoes. Our beaches are rocky with sharp, broken shells. You will also be walking into the water (up to your knees) to get into the boat.
  • Regular workout attire is appropriate for paddling. If it's a bit chilly out, a fleece vest or a light jacket works well.
  • We recommend using sunscreen, even on overcast cloudy days. Consider wearing a hat and long-sleeved shirt.
  • For all practices we suggest you bring your own water or sports drink.
  • You are going to get wet so a towel is a good thing to have in your car.
